Orchard Lake 2018 Phase III The winter of 2017-18 created significant ice push damage along a shoreline we had done previous work on.  Our original structure survived almost entirely intact.  However, work done in summer of 2017 did not fair nearly as well.  The owner felt the lake level was at all time highs and the heavy winds resulted in a lot of damage along the shoreline and risking the stability of a shoreline patio. We reinforced the area right in front of the patio with a wood retaining wall that was eventually covered with Envirolok units. We also used a new product called SOX as a test grounds on 50 LF of shoreline. Both the Envirolok units and SOX were planted with native species to help in the long term stabilization of the shoreline. The initial late summer pictures were showing good initial growth along the shore.
